Willing To Respond

Join the Movement: Willing to Respond
In a world where disasters—natural and human-made—can strike at any time, our faith calls us to act. The Penn Northeast Conference of the United Church of Christ invites all congregations to step forward and become part of “Willing to Respond,” a network of churches prepared to offer care and support during times of crisis.
What is Willing to Respond? Willing to Respond is a proactive initiative connecting churches like yours with essential resources, training, and a network of support to assist your community during emergencies. Whether it’s providing shelter, offering meals, or simply being a comforting presence, your congregation can make a meaningful difference when it’s needed most.
Why Should Your Church Join?
• Be Prepared: Gain access to workshops, materials, and guidance to equip your congregation to respond effectively.
• Make an Impact: Stand with other churches across the country in demonstrating God’s love through tangible action.
• Build Community: Strengthen bonds within your own congregation and with your neighbors as you work together for the common good.
• Receive Support: Joining means you won’t be alone in your efforts. The Penn Northeast Conference and the broader UCC community will support you every step of the way.
